LET'S CREATE SOMETHING GREAT...

TOGETHER.

Because we want you to feel comfortable with our renovation process, we have a 5-step process that
allows you to see what your project is going to look like and cost before we get started.

!! WITH NO SNEAKY SURPRISES !!

Clients appreciate that we take the time to ask all the right questions and listen intently to make sure we understand what they want. They also love the VALUE we bring to our full-service design and build process.

Our 5 Step Process

STEP 1: WE LISTEN

Complimentary In-Home Design Appointment

The first step in our process is to have one of our Remodeling Consultants visit you at your home.
If you’ve been thinking about fixing up your home you probably have ideas and dreams about how you want it to look and function. You probably have also been saving aspirational photos, creating Pinterest boards and Houzz Idea Books. That’s why we want to meet and carefully listen to you to learn all about your vision and discuss your ideas and budget.

Our goal is to listen carefully to understand just what you are trying to accomplish. We take detailed notes, measurements, sketches, and photographs. We also observe how you use your space to note all the little things that make a difference; where your baking sheets go, the small appliances you use, how you store linens, cutlery, garbage/recycle, etc. We do all this to give you the best design options.

STEP 2: BEGIN THE DESIGN

Visit Our Showroom

After talking about all the details of your project, it’s time for our Design Consultants (“DC”) to go to the drawing board and start designing your project. Planning is the key to your project’s success and we will keep you posted on the entire plan as we create it.
You’ll meet with your DC at our showroom, and they will introduce you to our production process to make you comfortable with how we do business. You will also see material samples and the 3D design your design consultant produced for you. This is the initial design; you can still work with your DC to change colours, textures and move items around to get everything exactly the way you want. Their goal is to get you to say “WOW!” We’ll start budget discussions to make sure you get the design you want at a price you feel comfortable with.

STEP 3: REFINE THE DESIGN

Refining Your Project

In this step, your DC works to come up with your final design plan. They work diligently to get your room layout perfect by taking your ideas and input and creating a masterpiece just for you.

Once a commitment has been made, we offer a one hour complimentary Personal-Touch Service that is designed to save marriages, wallets and sanity. If you need our in-house Interior Decorator to shop with you for all your material selections to make sure you get everything to look, fit and work together perfectly, she will! Trying to find all the items for your project can be a time consuming and aggravating process and she’s here to help take it off your shoulders and put it on hers—you will have the advantage of her colour and interior design expertise. Together, if you so choose, you can go shopping for products, pick colors, find the best deals and refine the design and layout to finalize your plan.

We Are Here For You

We know how it feels when you’re planning a remodel in your home – it can be overwhelming with all the choices. We are here for you to help you put your project together!

Step 4: DEFINE THE DESIGN

Project Agreement

Once your project design is finalized and all your materials are selected, we can begin to assemble your project agreement. This includes your plans, drawings, the scope of work, budget, payment schedule and the start date.

Our agreement contains the complete scope of the work to be accomplished which will include 3D illustrations, the make, model, color, and size of all materials selected, photos of those items, a payment schedule, the start date and the expected duration of the project.

The project agreement is for your protection. It spells everything out – what you are getting, what you are paying, when you are paying and when your project begins and ends. This agreement eliminates all confusion and its purpose is to put you at ease.

Step 5: BUILD YOUR PROJECT

The Fun Begins!

Now that the design phase is complete, it’s time to move to the exciting stuff: getting your project to production! We’ll work hard to make sure that vision of yours is a beautiful, efficient and sustainable reality. After everything is done, you’ll have your dream kitchen and our extended guarantee–OUR PROMISE, to add to your peace of mind, in the event   something goes wrong. If ANYTHING happens, you have our WORD, Leggo Kitchens has your back!

Starting Your Project

We’ll order the materials described in your agreement so that we can begin your remodeling project by the projected start date and review last minute questions and details.

Pre-Renovation Meeting

Roughly two weeks before your scheduled start date, your Design Consultant and Project Manager will meet with you at our Showroom. The purpose of this meeting is to review the details of the project agreement with the Project Manager. He will be with you on your project from start to finish.

Your Project Manager will be your primary person of contact once your project begins. Any arrangements regarding access, pets, material storage, dumpster placement, etc. will be addressed by him.

The Project

Our Craftsmen will complete the numerous phases of your project, as described in your agreement. Your Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of the construction.

A final walk through of your completed project will be done, checking every detail and a list of the final enhancements will be given to the Project Manager to complete.

Time to Celebrate!

After you’ve had a chance to add your personal touches, we’d like to come back out, at your convenience–and with your permission of course, take some pictures and celebrate!
